MadMacs Motorcycles are situated in Somerset West on the outskirts of Cape Town, South Africa, and was established in 2013 by Nick McFall.
We are proud distributors of world class brands such as Suzuki, Kawasaki and Sym motorcycles and scooters.
As of August 2018, we have been appointed as authorized Suzuki Dealers. We also sell good quality used motorcycles and hold a wide range of accessories and apparel. Our fully equipped Fitment Center and Workshop department works on most brands of motorcycles.
As of January 2018, Rob Cragg has entered into a partnership as Managing Director of MadMacs. Rob has 20 years experience in the motorcycle industry, as well as a successful racing career, winning the Western Province Championship 7 years running up until 2008. He returned to the track in 2018 and finished 1st in the WP Superbike Masters Championship, 2nd overall in 2019 and placed 3rd in 2020 on the ZX10 Kawasaki.
David McFadden joined Madmacs in January 2021 as our Brand Ambassador. He also heads our racing team as well as our DnoJet Dyno tuning facility at our Somerset West branch. David has extensive knowledge of motorcycle maintenance and repairs, provides sound rider feedback to race technicians, is an awesome team player and a qualified personal trainer. McFadden is extremely focused on his racing career winning the WP 600cc and Superbike championship in2010, the SA National 600cc Championship in 2011, the WP Regional championship in 2012 and 2015 and in 2012 until 2018 raced in the International world Superstock 1000cc and Spanish Superbike Championship. David also placed 3rd in the SA Superbike Championship in 2019 and 2nd in 2020. Besides he’s many accomplishments, McFadden has rightfully earned he’s WP and SA colours.
Daniel Mercury joined MadMacs in February 2021 and manages our in-store sales, spares and accessories. Daniel also heads our online store and marketing, ensuring your products gets delivered to your door quickly and efficiently. He has extensive knowledge of digital marketing, products in store and has good relationships with the suppliers to give you the best service on quality products. If we don't have it in store, we can order for you.
Paul Roos joined MadMacs as a workshop Manager in February 2020. He manages our Cape Town workshop and has over 20 years experience as a qualified Technician. Paul has extensive knowledge of various brands of motorcycle and their inner workings. Shahied De Jongh who joined us in February 2021 has more than 38 years experience as a qualified technician. Both Paul and Shahied mentor Michael Hunter who joined MadMacs to do he’s N1,N2 and N3 under their guidance. Michael also races in our race team on the Kawasaki Zx6R.
Quinton Lesch joined MadMacs in 2013 as a workshop technician and has more than 25 years experience as a qualified Technician. Quinton is now a Workshop Manager and manages our Somerset West workshop. Jean Jacobs, a workshop technician for MadMacs since 2014 has extensive knowledge of various brands of motorcycles and works alongside Quinton.
All our Technicians under Paul and Quinton’s guidance, will give you a professional service, sound advice and keep you on the road, as well as assist with warranty or insurance claims. MadMacs will also collect and deliver your motorcycle in and around the Western Cape, for servicing and spares required.
