BORN OF GREATNESS

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 BS6 comes with a 249 cc BS6 compliant single-cylinder engine. The engine features fuel-injection and oil-cooling system. The power output from the engine remains the same at 26.5 PS but the peak torque has now been reduced by 0.4 Nm and stands at 22.2 Nm. This engine comes mated to a 6-Speed Transmission which is very smooth to operate. The engine, on the other hand, is refined and has a pleasing sound when pushed hard. The fuel economy figures stand at around 38.5 kmpl.

RIDE, HANDLING & SUSPENSION

The bike gets telescopic front forks and rear mono-shock shock absorber which makes it ride really well on the roads. While the suspension is on the stiffer side, it is soft enough to absorb the bumps. At the higher speeds, the bike remains planted and there are no undesired vibrations on the handle or on the footpegs.

The bike boasts disc brakes on both ends and also features dual-channel ABS. the braking setup is decent and the bike sheds its speeds in no time. Overall, the brakes and suspension setup of the bike does make the rider feel confident while pushing the bike.
