The engine delivers the powerful acceleration and exciting off-the-line response you desire. It also satisfies Euro 5 emissions standards and achieves low fuel consumption of 1.9L/100km (52.6km/L)* and low CO2 emissions of a mere 44g/km* (in WMTC mode testing with EASS switched on). And now, this new engine performs even more quietly, smoothly, and efficiently thanks to the introduction of Suzuki’s new engine, which quietly starts the engine, automatically shuts it down when you stop, and restarts it when you take off again. Moreover, the engine’s air-cooled design makes it a reliable powerplant that is easy to maintain and economical to run. Compact and light in weight, it also contributes to realizing an eye-catching design that features nimble handling, luxurious comfort, and utility.

Combined Brake SystemSuzuki’s Combined Brake System supports well-balanced braking by distributing braking force to both the front and rear wheels when the left brake lever is operated. Stable stopping power is provided by a 190mm diameter disc brake in the front and a 130mm drum brake in the rear.* The Combined Brake System is intended only to assist braking operation. We strongly recommend that riders normally use both brake levers to control the front and rear brakes when braking.

The generously proportioned floorboard offers flexibility in foot positioning that lets you better maintain a comfortable riding position. Dedicated right and left footboards up front provide extra space you can use to extend your legs and cruise in greater comfort. Cut-away sections at the rear of the floorboard make it easier to place both your feet firmly on the ground when stopped.

Rear carrier with integrated grab barA rear carrier is standard equipment on the BURGMAN STREET 125. Its integrated grab bar gives the passenger a firm grip for extra comfort and peace of mind. The carrier* is handy for carrying extra gear, or for mounting the optional top case available as a genuine accessory.* Rear carrier load capacity is 6kg. -
Dual utility hooksA pair of sturdy hooks let you hang various types of bags, including shopping bags, above the floorboard. This expands your ability to carry items and provides greater convenience than accessing the underseat storage. The back hook can be locked to better secure items, and can be folded out of the way when not in use.* The weight limit for each hook is 1.5kg.
Practical front compartments
The left-side front compartment is large enough to accommodate a large-screen smartphone. Its lid closes to offer extra protection against the elements. On the right side is a quick-access inner pocket that offers enough storage capacity to hold a 500ml beverage or some other small item you may want to keep close at hand.
USB Outlet
The standard-equipment 2A USB outlet lets you charge your smartphone on the go. The outlet is conveniently located inside the cover of the left-side front compartment. An attractive blue LED remains lit as long as the ignition is turned on, making the outlet easy to locate, especially at night or in dark conditions.

Underseat storageWith a space-optimized design and capacity of 21.5L, the underseat utility compartment makes it easy to stow items such as shopping bags or rain gear where they are out of sight and protected from the elements. Two hooks inside the front lip of the compartment make it easy to hang a pair of helmets when parking. Both hooks are thick and strong, so your helmets are held securely in place.* The weight limit for items in the underseat compartment is 10kg. * Do not use the compartment to store items that are fragile, valuable, dangerous, or susceptible to heat. -
Theft deterrent key system with seat opener functionYou can quickly open the shutter that conceals the ignition key hole using the easy-to-operate magnetic mechanism coded to your key, even when wearing gloves. And the shutter closes again with a simple push of a button. There is also a handy function that opens the seat with the key still in the ignition, giving you quick access to the underseat utility compartment and fuel cap.
Side stand interlock systemA switch attached to the side stand prevents engine ignition while the stand is down. This helps protect you against carelessly starting off with the stand extended. And the BURGMAN STREET 125 is equipped with both a center stand and a side stand as standard equipment.
